Answer #1

Density = Mass/Volume

Mass = 3.75g

Volume = 2.35L

Density = 3.75g/2.35L = 1.60g/L

PV = nRT

P = 1.10atm

V = 2.35L

R = 0.082 Latm/molK

T = 23C = 23+273K = 296K

n = PV/RT

= 1.10atm * 2.35L / 0.082Latm/molK * 296K

n = 2.585/24.272 = 0.106moles

Moles = Mass/Molar Mass

Molar Mass = Mass/moles = 3.75g/0.106moles = 35.4g/mol
