Choose one of the projects in Section 3.14 to tackle. Come up with a solution, graphically, using linkage synthesis of 2 or 3 points and a quick return mechanism. Start by determining the 2 or 3 positions of the coupler link (specific to the project you choose). From there, design the 4-bar linkage and add a dyad (2 links) based on a quick return that you choose for your project. The total linkage will be a 6-bar linkage.

Answer :- Attachement for overcoming Curb in a wheel chair

A secondary wheel can be attached to the prime wheel as an attachement .the wheel axles are coupled to the motor . when there is a curb , the secondary wheel is engaged with the primary wheel through locking mechanism.when it is engaged the rocker wheel gets driven by the secondary wheel through 4 bar chain mechanism. now the rubber rocker comes over the curb and takes advantage of leverage to come across the curb.i suggest to keep multiple tooths in the rocker wheel for added advantage.when not required we can disengage the lock and the rubber tooth will come to normal posotion.

this attachement will be cost efficient and inplemented to any wheel chair as a supplemetary aid.
