For position, the ERD should record the unique position number, position name, and step number. Positions can be classified as management, associate, or other. Management positions have a salary range (minimum and maximum) and a car allowance amount. Associate positions have an hourly rate range. There are no attributes to record for other position types. An employee must hold one position. A position can be held by many employees.
