All the questions can be solved using VSEPR model as follows -

1. Number of valence electron around P+: 4

Electrons from 4 Cl: 4

Total: 8 i.e. 4 electron pairs(all bond pairs)

So, electron pair geometry around P in PCl4+ is tetrahedral.

Number of lone pair around P is zero(0) and geometry is tetrahedral.

2. Number of valence electron around Be: 2

Electrons from 2 I : 2

Total: 4 i.e. 2 pairs(all bond pairs)

So, electron pair geometry around Be in BeI2 is linear and number of lone pair is zero.

3. Number of valence electron around B-: 4

Electrons from 4 F: 4

Total: 8 i.e. 4 electron pair(all bond pairs )

So, the electron pair geometry around B in BF4- is tetrahedral and number of lone pair is 0.

4. Number of valence electron around N: 5

Electrons from 3 H: 3

Total : 8 electron i.e. 4 pairs(3 bond pair +1 lone pair)

So, geometry around N in NH3 is tetrahedral and number of lone pair around N is 1 and molecular geometry is tetrahedral and the shape is trigonal pyramidal.

5. Number of valence electron around B: 3

Electrons from 3 F: 3

Total :6 electron i.e. 3 bond pairs

So, electron pair geometry around B in BF3 is trigonal planar and number of lone pair is 0.
