Answer #1

19)
L = 0.5 H
i = 9.5 A
di/dt = 1.1 A/s

V(t) = i*R + L*di/dt
V(t) = 9.5*R + 0.5*1.1
V(t) = 9.5*R + 0.55

At t = t
I(t) = Vs/R * ( 1 - e^-1)
9.5 = (9.5*R + 0.55)/R *  ( 1 - e^-1)
R = 0.1 Ω

Internal resistance, R = 0.1 Ω

    Learning Goal: To understand the concepts explaining the operation of transformers.One of the advantages of alternating current (ac) over direct current (dc) is the ease with which voltage levels can be increased or decreased. Such a need is alwayspresent due to the practical requirements of energy distribution. On the one hand, the voltage supplied to the end users must be reasonably low for safety reasons(depending on the country, that voltage may be 110 volts, 220 volts, or some other value...

    Transformer 10:1 his i 0 12 V Figure 4: Transformer with dc source. Shown in Figure 4 is a very bad way to connect a transformer, which involves a 12 V battery. You may assume that the battery is ideal (i.e., zero internal resistance). The transformer has 10 turns on the primary winding, a saturation flux density of 1.2 T, a core cross-sectional area (Ac) of 10-4 m², and a relative permeability of 100 (i.e., He=100). You may assume that...
