17) The interquartile range (IQR) is the difference between upper quartile (Q₃) and the lower quartile (Q₁) and this value is the middle 50% values of total data points under consideration.

In the case o above pictures A & B, the IQR range of the number of humans on the plane is 97 to 111. Similarly, the IQR range of the number of mosquitoes available on the plane is 0.0401 to 1.12.

This IQR is very useful to understand the range of values at which the majority of our data points lie.

18) The median number of people on the plane is 104 whereas the median number of mosquitoes on the plane is 0.293. It means the chance of communication of dengue disease is low from the mosquitoes of the airplane to the passengers of the airplane.
