Operational requirements are the qualitative and quantitative requirements that need to be met for a system to work effectively. For the working of curbside pick up business, there are certain factors that should be met for the effective operation. These are as explained below.

a).

Location of the business: Location of the business has a very important role in the success of this type of business. Since the business will happen like customers will drive in, collect the flowers and then drive away. For this to workout effectively, the business shall be located in prime areas. No customer will choose curbside pick up if he has the time to drive a long while. Curbside pick ups are the option of customers who does not have sufficient time to do the purchase. This should be considered.

b).

Staff selection: Staff also has a major role in this business and customers will be in a hurry. Staff shall be patient and able to render their service effectively considering the peculiarity of customers.

c).

Packing: The flowers shall be well packed so that customers can easily handle it. They will definitely not want to get it damaged along the way. Quality and reputation have prime importance in any business and curbside pick up also is not different.

d).

Quick shopping: The shopping process must be streamlined to the needs of considering low time availability of customers. All types of payment services including electronic transfers, cash transfers etc. shall be available at the facility.
