Answer #1

Answer - True

Language generated by both the regular expression is same. Language generated by r1 and r2 is "strings having length at least 1 " .

Now as you can see for r1 =(λ+0+1)(0+1)(0+1)* Here (λ+0+1) can generate either 0 or 1 or nothing. But (0+1) generate either 0 or 1. then (0+1)* will generate any number of 0's and 1's . So it means r1 can generate strings having length at least one .

Now consider r2. It genrates (0+1)(0+1)* it means first it generate either 0 or 1 then any number of 0's and 1's using (0+1)* . So r2 generates strings having length at least one.

So both r1 and r2 generate same language . So we can write L(r1)=L(r2).
