4. Although Karina was not personally injured in the earthquake, her mother was injured and her house was badly damaged. She has frequent nightmares about earthquakes, and even when awake she sometimes gets flashes as if she's reliving the experience. The slightest noise or movement around her causes her heart to pound rapidly.

5. Jack has been sleeping a lot less lately, but yet he seems to have a lot of energy. His friend was also concerned by his behavior, like last night when he insisted on driving home even though he was drunk.

6. Because Amy feels "dirty" a lot of the time, she spends much of her day at the sink, washing and rewashing her hands hundreds of times until they are red and raw.

4.Karina is having past flashes of the traumatic experience of earthquake that injured her mother. The slight noise panic and stress her which may lead to physical sensations such as pounding heart. She can be diagnosed of Post traumatic Stress Disorder. The condition includes experiencing the traumatic event again and nightmares about the traumatic event that happene with an individual.

5.Jack has been sleeping less from lot of time which is impacting his behavior and he feels that he has lot of energy due to inability to sleep. He can be diagnoses of Insomia as the person is not able to sleep even after efforts.

6. Amy feels that she is contaminated all the time. As a result, she indulges in repetitive actions, in this case, it is washing to avoid her obsessive thoughts that she is dirty. Indulging in washing behavior helps her to relese the anxiety associated with her obsessive thoughts. Thus, she can be diagnosed of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) which involves preoccupation with certain obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors to avoid anxiety.
