The yellow molecules (Y3) react with the blue molecules(B2) to form molecules of Y2B in thecontainer shown below. Each circle represents one mole of material,and the atomic masses of Y and B are 57.7 and 89.5,respectively.
(There are 12 molecules of Y and 6 molecules of B in thecontainer)

1. How many grams of Y3 and B2 are in thecontainer?
2. How many moles of Y2B molecules can be produced?
3. How many grams of Y2B could be produced?
4. How many moles of Y3 and B2 remain aftercomplete reaction? Note: at least one of the substances mustdisappear completely.

Answer #1

In the container there are 12 molecules of Y and 6molecules of B are present.The totalweigt of the container is

                               = 57.7*12 + 89.5 = 692.4 + 537
hence there is a presence of 4 molecules ofy3 and three molecules of B2
1) The weight of Y3 present in the container is =4*173.1 = 692.4gm
                                                              B2    = 3*179    = 537gm
2) and 3) acc.to the following equation
                      4Y3 + 3B2          6Y2B
                                                                   = 6* 204.9=1229 gm Y2B present in the container
4) finally there is no amount of reactants areremained.
