2. It represents a concept of Henotheism. What is that?
3. Do you agree or disagree with this statement. Why?
God is Transcendent To the Sikh, God is transcendent; Beyond names and forms claimed by one religion. The following statement illustrates this concept. We live in a world that so often is fractured or separated by claims that God has only one name, and all other names or forms of God are wrong and should therefore be destroyed. God is pervades the world. The world is not separate from God. God can be found in everything. Consequently, Sikh do not try to convert people and they do not claim to be the only path to God. There is an assignment on this statement.

Answer #1

1. God is Transcendent. It means that physical laws can not define the God. He has no form. He is everywhere. He is independent of this materialistic world. We can not see him but we can feel him. His definition can not be tightened in words.

He is the supreme power of this universe. He is beyond human experiances. He exists above all the creations. He is independent of any law, creation. sense and perception. There is no point of comparison. There is no point of commonality.

2. Henotheism means worshiping a single god. It also has trust in existance of other dieties. When one person, a family or a tribe worship a single god then this is known as Henotheism. It may also be called as Monotheism. It accept the existance of many gods (like polytheism) but it says that there is only one supreme power to be worshiped.

3. I am completely agree with the statement. None has seen God. There is some power which is responsible for sustaining life. Life can only be sustained through the combination of various factors and that too in very specific limits. Maintaining such accuracies does not fall under the human capabilities.

Whenever science says that a mystery has been solved then various further questions arise. Some questions always remain unsolved. Some natural phenomenon are still a mystery for humans despite of heavy and advanced scientific developements.

Through the knowledge of various fields; human can only swim across the oceans of mysteries but can never measure the depth. We are nothing in this universe. Sustainability of life, Perfect synchronisation in universe, Unfamilier sounds, Black holes and many more topics are still under question. Theories are there but without assured facts.

Scientists also believe in existance of some type of magical force which is beyond the human imagination. We can not define God. We can only enjoy his creations. We can't create river, mountain, valleys; but we can enjoy these. Only God is supreme power and he is the one who governs all the nature and whole universe.
