i) max exp(-x2) subject to -2 < x < 5 : Constrained Optimization

Algorithm required: Substitution method

ii) min (x2 + y2) , (x-2)2 , (y-3)2 : Unconstrained Optimization

Algorithm required: Newton's Method

iii) max 2x +3y subject to x > 0 , 0 < y < 10 , y > x : Constrained Optimization

iv) min x2y6 subject to x2 + y2/4 = 1 : Constrained Optimization

Algorithm required: Lagrangian Multiplier

v) Design a quiter , more efficient, low cost car engine : It a type of Multilevel and one-criterion optimization systems are used for automobiles

vi) Design a software package to predict the stock market : It a type of Program optimization or Software optimization
