(c) TRUE. The Wald test is equivalent to rejecting the null if θ0 is not in the 1 − α confidence interval.

(b) False. The p-value is the probability of obtaining results as extreme as the observed results of a statistical hypothesis test, assuming that the null hypothesis is correct. For example if we are using Z-test and the value of the test statistic be "g", then the probability of getting atleast the value g in the direction of alternate hypothesis assuming our null hypothesis to be true is the p-value.

(c) True. If the underlying population is not normal then t-test cannot be used.

(d) True.
