Question

I am trying to identify an unknown but have had some trouble.

The IR shows strong sharp peaks at approximately 2965 cm^-1 and 1746 cm^-1.

The m/z seems to be 86.

Proton NMR shows a quartet at 2.5 ppm, and a triplet at 1.0 ppm.

C13 NMR shows peaks at 11, 46, and 76 ppm.

Is my m/z correct based on the MS?

I suspect the unknown might be cyclopentanone or pentan-3-one. Any hits would be useful. Thank you.
