Hello,
Please find
the answer to Q1 attached as under. Please give a
thumbs up rating if you find the answer useful!
Have a rocking day ahead!
1. (a) The normal prinbciples applied for the design of digital circuits are as follows:
- The logic is first designed through state tables and circuitry through K maps and variable reduction techniques. At every stage, the circuit design is simulated through software.
-Once the final circuit is designed, prototypes are manufactured and tested in all possible conditions.
- The user is always involved throughout the design process
- While designing, care is taken to consider delay times, rise times and hazards.
(b) CPLD uses lesser number of interconnection logics and are hence more advantageous for simpler circuits.
- CPLDs are cheaper than FPGA's
- CPLDs can be programmed more quickly and efficiently than FPGAs.
