Answer #1

Answer:- The events were serious to Goldman’s reputation to some extent, but the company will not suffer in the long term. One way the company will suffer will be through the bigger oversight from the SEC on Goldman’s operations. Goldman will have to take extra care when dealing with transactions with a higher risk since they would know that the SEC, or any other federal agency, will be monitoring them. Also, because of the increase in oversight, Goldman’s clients would be more concern about doing business with Goldman because their transactions will also be monitored by the government
