A- The importance of communicating about sex with your partner-

1- Talking to partner about sex enhances the emotional bond between the two.

2- The kind of desires may be reflected and understood for each other after the talk.

3- If there are some problems, they can be sought after.

4- There may even be a medical aspect that can be realised for the first time and the partner may be taken to medical professional/ doctor/ consultant for further action.

5- Specific requests regarding fulfilment of sexual desires can be expressed.

6- The frequency of sex and the allied aspects can be better understood.

7- The likes and dislikes can be understood.

8- Sexually transmitted infections can be prevented.

B- How can sexual communication in couples be improved?

1- There exists a feeling of shyness/ embarrassment/ hesitation. This must be eliminated.

2- The tendency that the spouses know much about sex is wrong. There must be a realisation that there is much to know and it should be known.

3- There is a personal failure/ drawback regarding fine communication and inability to express properly.

4- The sexual communication must include humour.
