Figure Q1 shows a simple arrangement of an electrical machine. A rectangular 30 cm × 20 cm metallic  loop is inside an electromagnetic field created by two identical solenoids. Resistance of the loop is 10 Ω. Each solenoid has 250 turns, and its core is made of Nickel. Resistance of the coils of the solenoids is 50  Ω. Both the metallic loop and electromagnets are fed from 80 V DC supply as shown in the figure Q1.  The supply current is 4 A.
