Wipro is one of the major IT firm that has been reorganizing the business practices and policies with the international standard for global expansion. It has decided to change to reorganize globally for its comprehensive portfolio of services it has provided and to retain as a strong sustainable company that is commited to services to over 160000 dedicated employees across six continents where the stood together to discover ideas and to turn the ideas into reality by connecting the dots.

Answer #1 ) There are several reasons that has lead to company change.Firstly the Indian companies has the model to hire resources at a lower cost and then they decide to continue expand while they have their own standard processes that have very solid training programes and the companies keep churning out not “good enough” people who could not meet out to the needs of the clients and for that they hire continiously the fresh graduates.

Secondly, when fresh people are hired it is a long process and it is a cost to the company in terms of process and efficiency. Thirdly, it could not create a career growth path with such large volume of experienced resources.

Despite these challenges the company has decided to change in the cut throat competition of service market through innovation and client satisfaction.

Employees Layoff: To weed out major non performer the company has sacked 500 employees in a rigorous performance appraisal to meet out the need of the technological change in the service industry and in the challenge of technological automation and to protect the main markets. It has reduced campus hiring and moved workers to new roles of automation.

New Logo: The company has established a new logo that represents “connecting the dots” for the clients which represents the values of the company and culture that rearticulates values connect and resonate deeply with the new vibrant brand identity. It also identifies diversity and aspirations of the employees with better engagement with the clients and greater innnovationwhich has a deep impact to the business.

The other things that the company has changed was..

a) Dress code relaxatrion

2) Appraisal relaxation

3) Focus on digital transformation and training the employees in their areas of expertise.

4) Focus on artifical intelligence Wopro HOLMES-which is an artificial intelligence platform.

a)The change was communicated to the sharesholders and the investors to avoid any activism.

b) Ther was need opf change in Management so the top manahement changed.

c)There was also need of change in technology so they brought about new technological transformation with cutting edge technology.

d) Employee lay off was necessary to the less productive employeess so this was also done by layingofv 500 of its employees.

The corporate office has to reassign the beliefs and values of the company and select plan drivers and other measurement standards. Apart from it had also changed the financial structure, the career growth plan of the employees, the insentive plan, the auditors.

These is how the comapny managed to change overtime and become one of the fortune company and it was successful.
