Molar mass of salen H2= 268 molecular weight of salicylaldehyde =122.12 g/mole

1 mole of salen H2 is produced by the reaction of 2 moles of salicylaldehyde with ethylenediamine

2*122.12= 244.24gms of salicylaldehyde   produces 268 gm of salen H2

4.9 gm produce 4.9*268/244.24=5.378gm
