1. Top loading balances are less accurate built with no balancer in it when it comes to errors associated as compared to analytical balances which is built with a balancer on the other end.

2. To reduce the effect of error associated while measuring it is advised to use the same balance throughout the experiment.

3. The air is mixed for even distribution and better flame before the gas is burned.

4. The flame is adjusted by supplying more air to the flame to get a blue flame.

5. The flame is reduced to get a better flame in this case.

6. Glass rods are uneven initially and thus fire polished after cutting.

7. For even heating and polishing the rods are constantly rotated while heating on a fire.
