Answer #1

Answer: Option A

Explanation: pH = 7.43, PaCO2 = 49, HCO-3 = 30 (Metabolic alkalosis with partial compensation). Normal pH range of blood is between 7.36 and 7.35 .

pH = 7.43 is basic. Hence it is alkalosis.

HCO-3 = 30 is elevated. So it is metabolic alkalosis.

PaCO2 = 49. Our body tries to compensate alkalosis by elevating the PaCO2 .

Though the body tries to compensate alkalosis by elevating PaCO2 , the pH of the blood remains the same. Hence it is partially compensated metabolic alkalosis.

Assignment 6, Merge Arrays (java) Instructions In this assignment, you will write a program which merges two arrays of positive integers and removes any duplicate entries. Your program will first ask for a valid length which must be an integer which is 10 or greater. The program should continue to ask until a valid length is entered. The program will then create two arrays of the length entered, fill these with random integers between 1 and 100 inclusive, and print...
