angle=90-35.5=54.5

x = 1.25 / sin(35.5)
= 2.15 m.

(b)
The beam reflects from mirror 1 at 35.5 deg. to the vertical, strikes mirror 2 at 54.5 deg. from below the horizontal, and is reflected at 54.5 deg ,above the horizontal.and goes away from thr mirror
