Answer #1

Lets name the nodes as follows

2 3801 430 450 1 N 2 1420/ 420 540 400 3 4 1420 1470/

Our approach is to equal input; output, for each node i=1,2,3 ,4 .

NODE 1

\text{input}_1=\text{output}_1
x_1 + 380 = 430 + x_2
x_1 - x_2 = 50 .

NODE 2

\text{input}_2=\text{output}_2
450+420 = x_1 + x_4
x_1 + x_4 = 870 .

NODE 3

x_1 - 230 = 50\text{input}_3=\text{output}_3
x_ 2 +540= 420+x_3
x_2 - x_3 = -120

NODE 4

\text{input}_4=\text{output}_4
x_3 + 470 = 400 + 420
x_3 = 350 .

With node 4 we have x_3 = 350 . Replacing it in node 3 we get x_2 - 350 = -120 or x_2 = 230 . Replacing in node 1, x_1 - 230 = 50 and x_1 = 280 . Finally, using the equation for node 2 we have 280+ x_4 =870 and x_4 = 590 .

x_1 = 280
x_2 = 230
x_3 = 350
x_4 = 590
