Answer #2

SOLUTION :

y  = 3 sin 2(x - pi/4)

a.

Amplitude = coefficient of the sin expression : sin 2(x - pi/4) = 3 (ANSWER).

b.

Period = T  = 2 * pi / coefficient of x  = 2 pi/2 = pi (ANSWER).

c.

Phase sift = constant in the expression (x - pi/4) = pi / 4 (ANSWER).

It is to the right of y-axis as constant is negative. (ANSWER).

d.
