Hi , i'm trying to integrate 1/(2+6x+9x^2). I know we're supposed to complete the square as part of our steps and I got 1/(3x+3)^2-7. I'm not sure if i'm correct with what I did and i'm also stuck from there. Your help would be appreciated.

Hi I'm kinda stuck on this question and I don't know how to go about it. For a smooth ("low jerk") ride, an elevator is programmed to start from rest and accelerate according to: a(t)=a(max)/2[1-cos(2*pi*t/T)] from intervals 0 <= t <=T and a(t)= -a(max)/2[1-cos(2*pi*t/T)] from intervals T <= t <=2T where a(max) is the maximum acceleration and 2T is the total time for this trip. a) Draw sketches of a(t) and the jerk as functions of time. b)What is the...

Matlab While loop help I'm doing a random walk problem and i need to make it so that when the walker goes over a certain position it gets reflected back onto the center (position=0). For this I'm trying to use while loops but they seem to get stuck. The program works fine until it reaches one of its limits (-10 or 10) then the while loops are supposed to prevent the position from going further and instead send the position...
