So, equation of the hyperbole will be of the form :
y^2 / a^2 - x^2 / b^2 = 1
Here,
a = 3 and c = 6
=> a^2 = 9 and c^2 = 336
So,
b^2 = c^2 - a^2 = 6^2 - 3^2 = 27
Therefore, equation of the hyperbola is :
y^2 / 9 - x^2 / 27 = 1 (Option E) (ANSWER).
