Answer #1

Half life = 1min

no of particles emitted in 1 min = 1000

which means initially there are 2000 particle ann in 1 min which is half life it decay 1000 particles and 1000 particles are remain

no of particles remain after 1min = 1000

for next 1 min

1 min is half life therefore for next 1 min it decay the half no of particles

no of particles emit in next 1 min = 500
