Question

Heads and Tails

Consider the following. (Assume that the coins are distinguishable and that what is observed are the faces or numbers that face up.)Three coins are tossed; the result is at most one tail. Which of the following sets of elements are included in the sample space?

Answer #1
Three are total 8 sample space like HHH,HHT,HTH,HTT,,TTH,THT,THH,TTT among them the atmost one tail we get ilke HHH,HHT,HTH,,THH. Therefore only this four sample space we observe in tossing. and its probability is 0.5 .

There are 8 possible sequences: HHH, HHT, HTH, HTT, THH, THT, TTH, TTT Let's make this situation a little more interesting. Suppose two players are playing each other. Each player choses a sequence, and then they start flipping a coin until they get one of the two sequences. We have a long sequence that looks something like this: HHTTHTTHTHTTHHTHT.......
