Answer #1
  1. M.W.= 70. By rule of 13 (70 divided of 13 then quotient taken as C no. and quotient+remainder as no. of H) the CH contain is C5H10. 4 kinds of proton peaks suggest 4 c in compound. So 1 O may be present. Hence with 1 O molecular formula is C4H6O. So, U.S. =2.
  2. IR data: Broad band at 3300 cm-1 -3400 cm-1 (For acetylinic C-H) and weak one at 2120 cm-1 (C-C triple bond monosubstituted) indicates terminal triple bond.
  3. H1-NMR data : 2.0 and 2.5 triplets (more peak height hence may be 2H each and 3.5 and 3.8 singlet (lesser peak height so 1H each may be.) may suggest a structure 3-methoxyprop-1-yne.
  4. Enantiotopic proton possibly given different peaks at 2.0 and 2.5.

Need help as soon as possible, my assignment is timed but I don't know how to complete this. This is all I was given in the question, nothing more was provided. --First, using the molecular formula of C7H10BrFS please draw a bond-line structure and the corresponding 1H NMR spectrum. Second, using the same molecular formula, please draw a constitutional isomer and the corresponding 13C NMR. Please be sure to have both representations properly drawn as well as the corresponding spectra.

I kind of know where to start for these but I get so confused trying to draw the structure and how to read and interpret the CNMR. Looking at the IR frequencies i think there is a benzene ring, as well as sp2 and sp3 C-H bonds, there is no O-H or N-H bonds, as well as no carbon triple bonds to nitrogen or carbon, and no carbon double bonded to oxygen bonds.I know there has to be 8 hydrogens...
