The structure of the compound A and B is with the molecular formula C9H10O2 AND C18H18O2 respectively is given in the image below:

In the IR spectrum, the two most intense bands will be obtained for C=O and C-O groups. In addition to these, C=C aromatic stretching frequency band will be obtained and C-H stretching for methyl and the aromatic group can also be noticed.
