4) The enzyme which is responsible for catalyzing the CO2 production at cellular level is Carbonic Anhydrase.

This enzyme accelerate the decomposition of Carbonic acid into CO2 and H2O in the lungs, and Combination of CO2 and H2O at tissue level.

5) Osmolarity of solution is

= 2*40 + 2*82 + 3*3

=80+164+9

=253 mM/L

If the cells are placed in above solution

There will occur shrinkage of the cell due to loss of water from red cell to hypertonic solution
