Charles law give the relationship between temperature and volume.

It is found that on constant temperature the volume of fixed mass of gas is directly proportional to its absolute temperature .

V= kT

Or k= (V/T)

The value of k depends on volume and temperature.

So in thermometer temperature decreasing constantly so to make the k constant volume will also decrease.

Hence there won't be any influence in the value of k

It is a constant .
