A dietician wanted to find out if there was any association between the amount of calories (Calories; measured in calories) and the total fat (Fat, measured in grams per serving) among chicken sandwiches made from different fast food chains like McDonald’s, Wendy’s etc. A sample of 20 chicken sandwiches was collected and the information was recorded. The data set “S1181 HW2 Q4 Data.xlsx” is available on D2L. Note: Use the variable Fat as the Y-variable and the Calories as the X-variable.

1. Use StatGraphics to produce a scatter diagram, without the least square regression line. Provide a description of the scatter diagram.
2. Use StatGraphics to produce the Regression output (the one that shows correlation coefficient etc.)
3. Can we conclude that there is a significant correlation between the amount of calories and total fat among chicken sandwiches from all fast-food chains? Make sure you use the three-step process and an appropriate decision point to answer this question
