Cost of quarry rights = $164000

Depletion per ton = Cost of quarry rights/Estimated salable rock

= $164000/20000

=$ 8.2 per ton

Tons loaded and sold in 2009 = 4000

Depletion in 2018 = Tons loaded and sold in 2018 x Depletion per ton

= 4000 * 8.2

= $32800

second option is correct option.
