a) There are 4 cards of each 2,4,6 and 8. So the required probability = 16/52 = 4/13

b) There are 2 red cards of each 2,4,6 and 8. So the required probability = 8/52 = 2/13

c) The Probability of drawing two red cards in a row with replacement =

We know there are 26 red cards. So the required probability = (26/52)*(26/52) = 1/4

d) We know there are 26 cards of two colours each in a standard deck. So the probability of drawing the same color card twice in a row = Probability of drawing red card in both turns + The Probability of drawing black cards in both turns.

= (26/52)*(26/52) + (26/52)*(26/52)

= 1/4 + 1/4

= 2/4 = 1/2
