Why would the slope of the graph of Fz vs dBz/dz for helmholtz coils increase as I increases instead of remain constant? Fz=magnetic force, dBz/dz=field gradient, I=current

Fz = u * ∂Bz/∂z where u is magnetic dipole moment and Fz is force experienced by a magnetic dipole placed in the external magnetic field.

The current 'Id' is used to generate the external magnetic field. Bz is a function of Id.

u = I * A, I is loop current of the dipole and A is area of loop

Fz acts on current loop.

as I is increased, u increases which is the slope of the graph of magnetic force Fz and magnetic field gradient.

Hence as I is increased the slope will increase and will not remain constant
