Object distance, u = 2 m
Consider the image distance as v and focal length as f.
Magnification = - v/u = 2
v = -2u
= - 4 m

Using the formula, 1/f = 1/u + 1/v,
1/f = 1/2+ 1/(-4)
= 1/4
f = 4 m
