When people are shot in the movies, the blast often knocks them backwards. Is this realistic? If a 20.0 gram bullet (which is a large bullet) traveling at 910 m/s strikes a 80.0 kg man wearing a saftey vest, how fast in meters/second will the man be knocked backwards? Assume it is an inelastic collison because the bullet sticks in the vest.
