Private investors will only have limited partnership in SBIC . At some point they will have to close it . SBIC makes it clear to these investors by it's laws that their partnership will only be limited and they will have to attend meetings when required. Investors who have more than 30 percent shares need to submit themselves for background check. They are divided into institutional investors and non-institutional investors. Institutional investors consists of entities such as banks.
