Answer:

A product I would choose would be produced with the importer being the US and the exporter being Costa Rica. The ideal incoterm for this transaction would be Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) I would assume that the US would handle more of the transport costs to ensure the arrival of fresh produce. Costa Rica would handle the costs overloading the merchandise, import insurance and duties. Such a scenario would be cost-effective for Costa-Rica and promote confidence in the receiving of the shipment in a timely manner and good conditions as per the interests of the US.
