In the last few years, the incidences of school shootouts and violence have increased significantly which really created the requirements for the schools to convert itself into a fortress. Due to the increasing pattern in the violence in the schools, a lot of security measures are taken by these schools in order to prevent any loss of life and to reduce this violence which can affect the mental status of a normal school going kid. Most of the schools have installed security personnel, security cameras, metal detectors, and a very strict guideline in order to ensure the safety of its students.

There is no question that because of these security measures, the realness of a school is being lost somewhere and it is changing the social environment of these schools. If we understand the psychology of a common student, then no student will be in favor of these security measures as this not only hampers the free environment in the school which is necessary for the effective learning but it also puts a metal pressure on the students When we see security measures all around us, there is a mental trauma that something can happen any moment of time thus in my opinion, the school must have the basic security measures but they should not be converted into battlefields. The schools can have the training classes and other seminars on controlling the violent behaviours of the students, They can use the help of experts on monitoring the violence tendency in the students and the corrective measures must be taken.
