Just two paragraphs, not more, please!
Ethics make a project authentic , trustworthy and real. The profession depends on honesty in the job that is being done which increases the respect for the position and the person or team . For example doing a project for profits is common in any business. If it is done by not disturbing the environment and taking all the measures required to not cause any sort of damage is the ethical way of doing the business. This gives respect to the project and the team and hence the project would also give fame along with profits to the team . Hence ethics are important in project management.
Each business has it's own way of operations and the process followed varies . Also the situations faced would vary from project to project. Hence it would be difficult to decide how an organization must behave and what is ethical and what is not. It would advisable to have some basic rules as code of conduct and follow ethical path as per the project and situation . For example a project might require for the evacuation of nearby areas which is unethical in normal circumstances . But in the current project it is very important and hence the team needs to act as per the requirement which is ethical in that situation.
