In my opinion subtle criticism is the least ethical one. As crticising on the basis of effectiveness and efficiency is found to be an ethical one but if it is done through the means of joking and kidding than it will be more of bullying in nature rather than an criticism. This type of subtle criticism is highly discouraged in a organisation and the human resource policy of the fortune companies have made very stringent punishment for those employees who will be directly or indirectly involved into these kind of activities. This could lead to the suspension or termination of the employee from the enterprise.
