3. Premise: So far, every time I’ve turned the knob on my stove
the burner has ignited.
Conclusion: The burner will ignite the next time I turn the knob on
the stove.
This is an inductive argument.
4. Conclusion: Jackie is a barker.
Premise: Jackie is a dog.
Premise: All dogs are barkers.
