. The process of defining measurement procedures for the variables used in a study is:
A) operationalization.
B) dose-response assessment.
C) causal modeling.
D) hypothesis formulation
Operationalization.
Operationalization is the process in a research design which defines how varoius indicators or variables included in the research will be measures. This is usually done to measure variables that don't have direct quantitative measurements. For example if we are going to measure Physical Fitness, we can't directly measure it. We will then operationalize or define variables, which we will take to be measures of Physical Fitness, such as Body Mass Index, Blood Pressure levels etc.
So operationalization is the correct Option.
