In VoIP, we use predefined programs and compatible technologies together for communicating verbally over Internet using some set Internet protocol through Internet. Here we use the services of Internet calling, fax, SMS, IM's and other internet related messaging services (using ie. Broadband telephony or Internet telephony) instead of PSTN (Public Switched telephone network). Basically, in VoIP, instead of using a circuit switched network, we encode and send them as packets with a label and transmit through internet. Furthermore it will cost more over internationally. Now a day’s all companies are diversified in different countries. So for conferencing VoIP is much better as only internet charge applies and do not need to pay extra. Also after introduction of fiber optics the speed of internet is much faster. So with VoIP, video conferencing also done to maintain company discussion whether they are in same place or not. All one need is his/her Laptop and internet connection. Also for phone network, the signal jamming, unreachable calls, and other factors remains which hampers the calls. The VoIP is cost effective and essential for today's fast growing market.
