Shayla is sliding in a sled from a top of a 5-m-high snow hill ( starting from rest.) At the bottom of the hill, her sled hits Tom, who falls into the sled.

Toms's mass is the same as Shayla's and her sled altogether. What is the speed of the sled after Tom fell in? Neglect friction w/ snow.

Concept: first we find out the speed of the sled at bottom of the hill using conservation of energy principle and then use momentum conservation principle to find the velocity after Tom falls in
