Capacitor are sensitive to the harmonics in the power system, whereas the capacitive reactance decreases with increase in the harmonic order increases

when inductor present in the power system , the inductive reactance increases with the increase in the harmonic order increases

to reduce the harmonics in the power system we install the capacitor power banks .
