Do you have any advice or studying tips for computer science majors?

Two most important things which you must focus upon is to undertake internships in both fields i.e. research internship and industrial internship. This will help you in honing your skills set, also you'll be able to build your profile. Try to do industrial internships in both big companies and a startup, this will give two distinct experiences and knowledge. The second most important thing is to build projects which can be for competitions, for learning a concept and sometimes for building your profile as well.

Other things which I recommend you should do are as follows:

1. Focus on course work
2. Study lot of discrete maths, linear algebra.
3. You should be thorough with your data structures and algorithms.
4. Try to master at least two programming languages, preferably one very low level language like C, one relatively high level language like Python, and get familiar with non-imperative paradigms of programming .
5. You should dedicate a good amount for practicing programming questions on various portals, this will help you in qualifying interviews.
6. Try to get familiar with different types of operating systems, with focus being on linux and then you can master either WindowsOS or MacOS.
7. Learn how internet and other associated technologies work. Along with this, try to build your own portfolio website using your web development skills.
8. Once you have build your fundamentals, find a particular domain where you desire to build your career. It can be Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, Algorithms etc. This will provide you with the necessary impetus and a pathway which you can follow to secure a job or pursue higher studies. You can even fuse to fields for creating your own desired field. For example, you can look to build your career as a Cyber Security Analyst in Cloud Computing Network.
9. Lastly, you must persist with the exploration of this captivating field like Computer Science. There are plethora of websites where you can learn about latest innovations, research and industrial developments in this field.

Most importantly, do not forget to enjoy your life as a student, studies are important but you should take care of your health as well. Also build a hobby/hobbies which will help you to relieve the stress, It can be drawing, painting, reading books etc.
